What is Random Questions Generator

A new group does not always know where to begin. Pick a situation that fits the people in the room, draw a question, and give everyone the option to answer or pass.

How to use Random Questions Generator

  1. Choose an Icebreaker situation, such as Remote meetings, Family table or Classroom introductions. All categories mixes all eight situations.

  2. Choose 1–10 cards, then click Generate Questions. Each category has 15 original questions.

  3. Read the question cards below the controls. Invite people to answer or skip any question they prefer not to discuss.

  4. Use Copy Results to save the questions and category labels for a meeting or activity.

  5. Change the situation to clear old cards, then generate again. Questions do not repeat within a draw, but later draws can repeat.

How are the 120 questions divided?

There are 15 questions each for new acquaintances, team introductions, remote meetings, classroom introductions, family table, parties and game nights, creative what-ifs, and reflect and reconnect.

Can children use the questions?

Classroom introductions and Family table are the recommended starting categories. An adult or facilitator should choose prompts suited to the group, and anyone can pass.
