What is the Random Pokémon Generator?
Discover a Pokémon without having to choose a favorite first. This text-only randomizer selects from National Pokédex numbers 001–1025, from Bulbasaur to Pecharunt. Each species receives one entry, with its English name and number.
How to use the Random Pokémon Generator
Choose one to six results and press Generate Pokémon. Use Copy to copy the names and numbers, with one result per line. Choose six for a random group, or one for a drawing prompt. Expand the roster to read all 1,025 names.

Use Cases
Choose a character to draw from memory, build a trivia question, or share a random group with friends. A group of six is for inspiration: the tool does not check which Pokémon are available in a particular game, battle format, or competitive ruleset.
