What is Random Emotion Generator?
Give a character a feeling to reveal through dialogue, action, or a quiet reaction.
The 27 entries are original short writing prompts. Pleasant, unpleasant, and contextual categories help browsing. Intensity labels are editorial suggestions: the same feeling can vary in strength between people and situations.
How to use
-
Choose a category, or leave All categories selected. Choose Low, Medium, High, or Any intensity.
-
Enter 1–10 results. Narrow filters have fewer entries; reduce the number if the selected pool is too small.
-
Click Generate Emotions. Cards below the controls show each feeling, its short explanation, and suggested intensity.
-
Use the feeling to guide a character’s dialogue or an acting exercise. Click Copy Results, or generate again for another prompt.
How selections work
Each eligible entry has an equal chance. Filtering changes the available pool. Selection happens in your browser, with no repeats inside a draw. Changing a control clears the previous results so they do not appear to match your new settings.
