What is Random Pair Generator?
Organizing partners for an activity is easier when every person appears once. Paste a list and generate a fresh arrangement for the current round.
How to use Random Pair Generator
Paste 2–500 names, one per line. Add initials for duplicate names. Choose how to handle an odd count, then generate and copy the groups.
Features
Random shuffle; each person used once per round; blank lines ignored; duplicate-name checks; odd-count options.
Use Cases
Assign lab partners, study buddies, or practice teams. The tool does not balance skill levels or remember earlier pairings. To select just one person, use the random name picker.

Choose one group of three or leave one randomly selected person unpaired.
Can the same partners appear again?

The pairing function runs locally in your browser and does not send or save the entered names.
Is it fair?
