What is Random Age Generator?
When a character profile needs an age, choose a range that fits the role and draw a result. For a set of fictional profiles, generate a batch and paste the ages into your notes.
Whole-number ages measured in years, with both endpoints included. The supported range is 0–120 and batches contain 1–100 results. Zero represents an age below one year in whole-year terms.
How to use Random Age Generator
Set minimum and maximum ages, enter a quantity, and optionally allow repeats. Select Generate Ages, then copy the list. If you request more unique ages than the range contains, expand the range, lower the quantity, or allow repeats.
Features
Each integer in the range has an equal chance. Without repeats, the tool samples distinct ages within a batch. With repeats, each draw is independent. Setting both bounds to 42 always gives 42; for multiple results at that bound, enable repeats.
Use Cases
Build fictional character profiles, practice sorting and averages, or fill sample age fields. Uniform ages do not reproduce a real population’s age distribution. For a month-and-day prompt, use the random birthday generator.
FAQ
Are the minimum and maximum included?
Yes. Both bounds are eligible, and ages are generated as whole numbers of years.
Can I get duplicate ages?
Only when Allow repeated ages is selected. Without it, each age appears at most once in the current batch.
Does it calculate my age?
No. It generates random ages. It does not calculate age from a birth date or estimate anyone’s real age.
